As a female musician, it's been frustrating to attend festivals where men dominate the both the bill and the administration. This event is meant to promote an alternative.

When I was a kid, I never attended a musical event where women were as well-represented as men. This provides an opportunity for young people to see that anything they dream - they can do.

I am now accepting applications to participate, volunteer or sponsor the event. If you'd like to perform your original music, present your artwork or display your business, contact me at jessrocknroad@gmail.com. 

We are always planning events to lead up to and support the festival and plan to continue the tradition. If you are interested in getting involved as a venue, artist or sponsor, but are unable to attend, don't worry. More events are coming in the future. Get in touch!
